 Whether you' re a weekend athlete or a pro, you probably notice a lot of muscle tension after a rigorous workout. 

Depending on the needs of the client, a variety on of techniques are used.  The technique often involves a blend of traditional Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Shiatsu, all specifically designed to help the specific type of athlete or fitness enthusiasts.  The purpose of the massage is help prepare and recover athlete to have peak performance, to drain away fatigue, to relieve swelling, to reduce muscle tension, to promote flexibility, and to prevent injury.  Many athletes and fitness enthusiast use sports massage as part of their health maintain. ​

Reduced Muscle Tension and Stress

During the sports massage treatment, a major benefit will be the trigger of your bodies natural painkillers, called endorphins.  This will help counteract the effects of physical stress and strain your body has endured.  As the nervous system tells the body to let go, the muscles will muscle, tendons, and ligaments will relax.  When the body performs continuous physically demanding activities, the nervous system is in a heighted sense, telling the muscles to tense and work harder. Causing the issue of chronically tight muscles and holding patterns.  The sports massage will help the break up these patterns and allow the muscles to release and flush out the toxin build up.
